MIDAS was founded in London in 2019 with a simple goal, to create a better alternative to the OEM Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore strap. The factory strap is expensive, stiff and uncomfortable over time, for a watch as bold as the Royal Oak Offshore, we felt collectors deserved better.

We set out to create a premium aftermarket AP rubber strap that is more comfortable, more affordable and available in colours that do justice to the watch. Inspired by the world of performance cars, from Porsche GT racing to Ferrari, every MIDAS strap is designed to complement the bold character of the Royal Oak Offshore.

Since 2019 we have sold over 1000 straps to AP collectors worldwide. Every MIDAS Royal Oak Offshore replacement strap is made exclusively for the 42mm and 44mm Offshore family and comes with a lifetime warranty as standard.
