42mm or 44mm, how to tell which size you need

The size refers to your watch case diameter, not the strap width. As a general guide, the 42mm Royal Oak Offshore is the more common size and includes the Offshore Diver models. The 44mm is the larger, more overtly sporty case and does not include a Diver variant.

Quick Release system compatibility

Some newer Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore models are fitted with the AP Quick Release system, which uses a proprietary strap attachment in place of the screw bar used on earlier models. MIDAS straps attach with a screw bar through the original AP end links and use a tang buckle. They are not directly compatible with the Quick Release system.
