Lifetime Warranty

MIDAS Lifetime Warranty

Last updated: June 2026

Overview

Every MIDAS Royal Oak Offshore replacement strap comes with a lifetime warranty as standard. We stand behind the quality of every aftermarket AP rubber strap we manufacture and are committed to ensuring every customer is satisfied with their purchase for the lifetime of the product.

What is covered

Our lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects only. A manufacturing defect is defined as a fault in the materials or workmanship of the strap that was present at the time of manufacture and was not caused by use, wear or external factors.

Examples of manufacturing defects covered by this warranty include structural splitting or cracking of the rubber that was not caused by normal wear, delamination of strap layers, defects in the buckle hardware included with your order, and significant dimensional inconsistencies that affect the fitment of the strap to your watch.

What is not covered

The following are not covered by our lifetime warranty:

Normal wear and tear resulting from everyday use. Discolouration, fading or surface scratching caused by exposure to sunlight, chemicals, perfumes, sweat or abrasive surfaces. Damage caused by incorrect installation or removal of the strap. Damage caused by use with an incompatible watch model. Accidental damage of any kind. Any strap that has been modified, altered or repaired by a third party.

Warranty assessment

All warranty claims are assessed at the sole discretion of MIDAS. We reserve the right to determine whether a reported fault constitutes a manufacturing defect. We may require you to return the strap to us for inspection before a warranty decision is made. Our decision on all warranty claims is final.

Warranty replacement

If your warranty claim is approved, we will replace your strap on a like for like basis with the same colour and size where stock is available. If your original colour is no longer available at the time of your claim, we will offer you a replacement in an alternative colour of your choice from our current available range. We do not offer cash refunds under the lifetime warranty.

Shipping costs

The buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping the faulty strap back to us for inspection. MIDAS will cover the cost of shipping the replacement strap back to you. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning a strap under warranty as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.

How to make a warranty claim

If you believe your MIDAS strap has developed a manufacturing defect, please follow these steps:

Step 1 — Contact customer services
Contact our customer services team via WhatsApp or email with a clear description of the fault and photographs showing the defect. Do not return any item without contacting us first.

Step 2 — Warranty assessment
Our team will review your claim and photographs and advise whether an inspection of the strap is required. If inspection is required, we will provide you with a return authorisation number and return address.

Step 3 — Return for inspection if required
Ship the strap to us using a tracked service at your cost. Include your return authorisation number clearly inside the parcel.

Step 4 — Replacement dispatch
If your claim is approved following inspection, we will dispatch your replacement strap within five to seven working days. You will receive a tracking number by email once dispatched.
